Quality Assurance specialists of Armsoft and several other Armenian IT companies founded Armenian Software Testing Qualifications Board NGO in June, 2016.

   Main goals of the Board are:

• Spread and raise awareness of Quality Assurance  profession
• Organize and implement professional seminars and meetings
• Establish cooperation with international organizations  providing vocational trainings and qualification
• Cooperate with foreign Quality Assurance  Unions

   One of the most important projects of the Union was cooperation with ISTQB (www.istqb.org) organization. ISTQB is the developer of Quality Assurance specialist development program and provides multilevel qualification (it was founded in Belgium, in 2002, has carried out more than 600.000 examinations and delivered 440.000 certificates)

   ISTQB General Assembly was held in Seoul, the capital of Korea on 21 October, 2016, where the draft of Armenian ArmSTQB platform was introduced and was approved by the management of ISTQB through voting.

   ArmSTQB is the first and the unique official representative of ISTQB in the Republic of Armenia.

   ArmSTQB  provides:

• Development project for QA specialists
• Accredited exam preparation courses
• Cooperation with ISTQB platform of other countries and exchange of experience
• Opportunity for IT companies in Armenia to become ISTQB partner
